Il materiale con cui viene prodotto il rivestimento dei dischi di attrito è uno speciale mix di fibra che non si dilata, riduce al minimo l'attrito e l'usura: il materiale altamente compattato impedisce l'espansione delle guarnizioni e lo slittamento della frizione anche sotto carico estremo.
