I am sorry but I am not able to tell you if this engine guard also fits erlier versions: it could but not even the producer knows it. The only way is to check if someone knows that the frame of the 2 models are the same or not.

I'm very interested to see a photo of these mounted on a GL1000 if possible. I'm having difficulty trying to visualize how these attach to the bike exactly without a photo. Thanks.

I am very sorry but we do not have a picture of the crash bars installed on the mortorcycle: we only have a generic picture of the universal version. Unfortunately the producer does not make real pictures of the protections installed.

vorrei vedere qualche foto di montaggi già effettuati per capire meglio dove connettersi sul telaio, potreste inviarmi qualche documentazione fotografica o qualche schema/disegno di montaggio ? grazie. Claudio Manfredi , cell. 3356073780
